Mother Nature Wins on “Five Dollar Friday”

Odessa, MO  (July 27, 2007) – Mother Nature took charge on Friday Night just as Feature Races were getting under way, on the Dirt Track, at I-70 Speedway.  With all the heat races competed, officials shortened the intermission and moved right into feature races.  On lap three of the first feature, Stock Cars, a light shower brought out the yellow.  Officials called for all cars on the track, in an effort to keep the track ironed in, in the event the shower was short lived.  Mother Nature had a different idea.  She let it poor, cars were sent to the pits and the night of racing was done.

With all heat races complete and the Stock Car feature under way, feature events from July 27^th will be completed first on Friday night, August 3^rd.  At the completion of the postponed features from July 27^th, a full show of heat races and features for “Five Dollar Friday”, August 3^rd will begin.  Pit Gates will open at 5:00 pm, Admission Gates will open at 6:00.  Hot Laps will start at 7:30 with Racing at 8:15.  And, as always General Admission is only $5.00.
